Buyer-paid shipping fee
The shipping fee paid by the buyer. This can affect the estimated transaction fee calculation depending on how the marketplace computes the fee base.
Why profit can go down when discounts are added
A common beginner misunderstanding is thinking that a seller-sponsored discount lowers the product cost. It does not. Product cost is what the item costs you to source or make. A seller-sponsored discount is a reduction from your selling side, which means you are giving up part of your revenue.
In simple terms: if your item cost goes down, profit usually goes up. If your seller-sponsored discount goes up, profit usually goes down.
